Terms of Use

My Roadmap to College provides educational information, planning guidance, resources, and organizational tools designed primarily to help parents and families navigate the college-planning process.

The College Journey Portfolio provides a way to organize and retrieve information related to a student's academics, activities, achievements, leadership, service, work experience, and other information that may be useful during the college and scholarship process.

My Roadmap to College is an educational and organizational resource. It does not guarantee:

• admission to any college or university;
• scholarships or financial aid;
• admission to a particular academic program;
• any particular admissions decision; or
• any other educational outcome.

The information provided through the Roadmap is general information and is not individualized admissions, legal, financial, or tax advice.

College policies, application requirements, deadlines, testing policies, financial-aid rules, scholarship requirements, and other information can change. You are responsible for verifying important requirements and deadlines directly with the applicable college, university, government agency, testing organization, scholarship provider, or other official source.

You are responsible for providing accurate information when using the service and for maintaining access to the email account associated with your account.

The service is not intended for children under 13. If you are under 13, you may not create an account or provide personal information through the service.

You control the information you choose to enter into the College Journey Portfolio.

You are responsible for ensuring that you have the right to provide information you enter about another person, including a student.

The College Journey Portfolio is intended as an organizational tool. You should retain copies of particularly important information or documents elsewhere when appropriate.

Certain features require a one-time purchase.

The Roadmap to College, Scholarship Tracker, and College Journey Portfolio are available as individual one-time purchases. The Complete College Planning Bundle includes all three products. The Roadmap also includes the Scholarship Tracker at no additional cost. We do not offer subscriptions or upgrade credits. If you already own a product included in the Bundle, purchasing the Bundle does not provide a credit or discount for that product.

The Scholarship Tracker is a downloadable Excel workbook that can also be used in Google Sheets. You download it from your account. The Roadmap and the College Journey Portfolio are online products that you access by signing in to your account.

Online access to the Roadmap and the College Journey Portfolio continues for as long as we offer the service, subject to these Terms. We do not promise lifetime or permanent access.

Our products are designed for families navigating the US college admissions process, including families living outside the United States. At this time, purchases are available only with a billing address in the United States. If an order is placed with a billing address elsewhere, we will not provide access and will refund it in full. We may also decline, cancel, and refund any other order that we are unable to process or fulfill lawfully.

Prices shown at the time of purchase apply to that transaction. We may change prices for future purchases without changing purchases already completed. Applicable taxes, if any, are calculated at checkout.

Because our products are digital and access is provided after purchase, we generally do not offer refunds for changes of mind once access has been granted.

We want every customer to receive the product they purchased and be able to use it as described. If you experience a duplicate charge, difficulty accessing your purchase, or a significant problem with the product, please contact us at hello@myroadmaptocollege.com.

We will work to resolve the issue and provide a refund when appropriate, including when a delivery or access problem cannot be resolved, or when required by applicable law. We may also make exceptions at our discretion.

A full refund ends access to the refunded product.

The Complete College Planning Bundle is treated as one purchase for refund purposes. We do not ordinarily issue partial refunds for individual Bundle components. If a full Bundle refund is issued, access granted through that purchase ends. Any access obtained through a separate purchase or complimentary grant remains unaffected.

Refunding the Roadmap also ends the access to the Scholarship Tracker included with that purchase, unless you have separate access to the Tracker.

For the Scholarship Tracker, a refund ends access to future downloads through your account. A workbook you have already downloaded stays on your device. We cannot remotely disable or erase it, and you may keep it.

If College Journey Portfolio access ends because of a refund, information previously saved in the College Journey Portfolio is not automatically deleted. You may contact us if you would also like to request deletion of your stored information.

We reserve the right to deny or limit refunds in cases of fraud, abuse, repeated refund requests, or misuse of the refund policy. This does not limit any refund that applicable law requires.

If a payment for a product is disputed with your card issuer or bank, we may suspend access to that product while the dispute is pending. If the dispute is resolved in our favor, we will restore access. If the payment is returned to you, access to that product ends. Please contact us first if there is a problem with a charge, so we can try to resolve it directly.

This does not affect a workbook you have already downloaded, and it does not limit any right you have under applicable law.

You may use the service for personal and family college-planning purposes.

You may not:

• attempt to gain unauthorized access to another person's account or information;
• interfere with the operation or security of the service;
• use automated methods to scrape, extract, or systematically copy the service;
• reproduce, republish, distribute, sell, license, or commercially exploit substantial portions of our original Roadmap content without permission; or
• use the service for unlawful purposes.

The original content, organization, design, written guidance, tools, and other materials provided through My Roadmap to College are owned by or licensed to My Roadmap to College and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

Purchasing access gives you a limited right to use the product for your own personal or family college-planning purposes. It does not transfer ownership of the content or give you permission to redistribute or commercially reproduce it.

You may, of course, use information you personally enter into the College Journey Portfolio for your own purposes.

We may update, improve, correct, or modify the service and its content over time.

We work to keep the service available and information useful, but we do not guarantee that the website will always be uninterrupted or error-free.

The Roadmap may link to websites and resources operated by colleges, government agencies, testing organizations, scholarship providers, and other third parties.

Those resources are provided for convenience and informational purposes. We do not control third-party websites, and their content, availability, policies, and practices may change.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, My Roadmap to College will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from use of the service or reliance on information provided through it.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

We may update these Terms as the service evolves. If we make material changes, we will update the “Last Updated” date and take additional steps to notify users when appropriate.
