• your email address if you choose to receive updates or other communications from us.

You decide what information to enter into Journey Record. You do not need to provide information that is not useful to your family's college-planning process.

We use information we collect to:

• provide and operate The Parent's Roadmap to College and Journey Record;
• create and maintain user accounts;
• save and retrieve information you choose to store in Journey Record;
• process and manage purchases and access to paid products;
• respond to questions, support requests, and feedback;
• send communications you have requested or agreed to receive;
• understand how people use the website and improve the product; and
• protect the security and integrity of our services.

We do not use the contents of your Journey Record for advertising.

The Parent's Roadmap to College is designed primarily to help parents and families navigate the college-planning process. Journey Record allows users to voluntarily organize information that may relate to a student.

Because this information can include personal information about a student, we encourage users to enter only information that is useful for college planning and recordkeeping.

The service is not intended for children under 13. Children under 13 should not create an account or provide personal information through the service.

Payments for paid products are processed by third-party payment provider Stripe. We do not directly store your complete credit or debit card number.

Stripe processes payment information according to its own privacy practices.

We use third-party service providers to operate parts of the service, such as website hosting, database and authentication services, payment processing, email delivery, and website analytics.

These providers may process information as necessary to provide their services to us.

We do not sell your personal information.

We may collect limited information about how visitors use the website, such as pages viewed, features used, and actions taken within the product. We use this information to understand whether the Roadmap is useful and to improve the experience.

We do not intentionally send the written contents of Journey Record entries to our website analytics provider.

If you choose to receive updates from The Parent's Roadmap to College, we may use your email address to send information about the Roadmap, college-planning resources, product updates, or related communications.

You may unsubscribe from optional marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe option included in those messages.

Account, authentication, purchase, security, or other service-related communications may still be sent when necessary to provide the service.

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect the information stored through our service. However, no online service or method of electronic storage can guarantee absolute security.

You are responsible for maintaining access to the email account used to sign in to The Parent's Roadmap to College.

We retain information as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain appropriate business records, comply with legal obligations, and protect the security and integrity of the service.

A refund or loss of access to a paid product does not automatically delete information previously stored in Journey Record.

We may retain limited information when required for legal, accounting, fraud-prevention, dispute-resolution, or other legitimate business purposes.

The Roadmap includes links to colleges, government agencies, testing organizations, financial-aid resources, and other third-party websites that we believe may be useful to families.

We do not control those websites or their privacy practices. Their own privacy policies and terms apply when you visit them.

We may update this Privacy Policy as the service evolves. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last Updated” date on this page and take additional steps to notify users when appropriate.
