Why this exists
When we started going through the college process with our own family, we quickly realized the hardest part wasn't finding information. There was plenty of it. The hard part was knowing what actually mattered, when we needed to pay attention to it, and what we could safely ignore for now.
We found ourselves piecing the process together as we went: school emails, college websites, testing deadlines, financial aid forms, advice from other parents, and a lot of moments when we wondered, Were we supposed to know that already?
The Parent's Roadmap to College grew out of a simple thought: families shouldn't have to figure out the entire process from scratch.
So we started building the kind of roadmap we wished we'd had. Something practical, clear, and manageable enough to help you stay ahead without making college planning take over your family.
What we learned along the way

The Roadmap is for parents who want to stay ahead of the college process without taking it over for their student.
Maybe you're figuring it out largely on your own. Maybe you have limited time with a school counselor. Maybe you've found plenty of information but still aren't sure how all the pieces fit together or what you're supposed to be doing right now.
You don't need to become a college admissions expert. You just need a clearer way to see what's ahead, understand what matters, and know when it's time to act.
